M-Body Contemporary Dance -- Movimento Project VII

M-Body choreographically explores the fundamental role that our bodily selves play in our existence: in our thoughts, our identities, our behavior, our feelings & our social and cultural interactions with our surrounding world. With a cast of 10 dancers ranging from 9 to 60+, live music and video-projected art, M-Body is a set of playful and thoughtful choreographic explorations of body experience in biography, world view and art.

Embodiment happens at the intersection of the physical, emotional & mental, where what we are doing, feeling and thinking finds alignment. In a time of so many activities that subdue the body to virtual activities, “M-Body” is a tribute to the importance of full-bodied subjectivity and presence in the world.
