JON GOLDMAN’S VILLAGE PORTRAIT PROJECT

JON GOLDMAN’S VILLAGE PORTRAIT PROJECT is an ambitious project by the multimedia artist to digitally paint 780 portraits of the people of Woods Hole, Massachusetts.  150 portraits have been completed. Each year the artist opens his studio to view the most recent portraits.  In final form, the aluminum prints of the portraits will travel to other places as a way of better understanding the concept of the “Village”, and larger “Community”.  Supported by the MCC and Arts Falmouth and privately.
