John Whorf's Provincetown: A Gallery Conversation with Amy Whorf McGuiggan

Join Amy Whorf McGuiggan, granddaughter of artist John Whorf, for an informal talk and Power Point presentation about John Whorf’s years in Provincetown.

Born in Winthrop, Massachusetts in 1903, Whorf spent childhood summers with his grandmother in her East End home. In 1919 he began his studies with Charles Hawthorne and George Elmer Browne with whom he travelled extensively in Europe during the winter months.
