Introduction to the Ukulele July-August 2015 with Vanessa Gregory

Teens and Adults The ukulele has been called “The World’s Friendliest Instrument”. Students will learn basic chords and strumming patterns to classic songs such as “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” and “Sweet Caroline”.  Singing along is encouraged but not required. Once you’ve learned a few basic techniques you’ll be on your way to playing pretty much any song you like. Especially welcome are folks with little or no musical instrument experience. Bring your own ukulele or some loaners will be available.
