Dahn Hiuni is a New York-based multidisciplinary artist. His work spans the fields of visual art, graphic design, film and video, performance art, and theater. Hiuni’s work has been presented at such New York venues as P.S. 122, Franklin Furnace, Mixed Greens, Artists Space, Metro Pictures, Cooper Union and Thread Waxing Space. Other exhibition and performance venues include The Walker Art Center, The Leslie-Lohman Museum of Gay and Lesbian Art, Cleveland Performance Art Festival, Delaware Center for Contemporary Art, the Art Gallery of Ontario and the Lancaster Museum of Art. He has taught at Pratt Institute School of Visual Arts, Fashion Institute of Technology, Hofstra University, and Bucknell University, and has worked as an educator at The Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Museum of Modern Art. Hiuni holds an MFA in art and an interdisciplinary PhD (Art Education/Art History/Performance Studies), both from Penn State. He is adjunct professor of art at the State University of New York/Empire State College.
