History of the East Sandwich Game Farm

The History of a Unique Nature Preserve

Local Sandwich Historian John Nye Cullity presents a special slide program describing the geography and history of this popular 135 acre preserve including Native American use, farming, salt works on Scorton Creek, 75 years as a game farm, and the preservation story.  This beauttiful and diverse property is currently managed by the Thornton W.
