A play in two acts
Join us for a semi-staged reading of this satirical play - inspired in part by Sinclair Lewis's "It Can't Happen Here" - presented as part of Cape Cod Museum of Art's "We, the People" exhibit.
The play - which has elements of broad (but barbed) farce & tragedy - imagines the impact of a Fascist regime on the residents of a small New England town. Imagine a cross between Orwell's 1984 & Thornton Wilder's Our Town.
