Guy Fishman, principal cellist of the Handel and Haydn Society in Boston, makes his long-awaited return to Preservation Hall following an acclaimed recital of unaccompanied suites by Johann Sebastian Bach. Joining him is the brilliant baroque violinist Renee Hemsing; each performs one of the canonic unaccompanied works for violin and cello by Bach. The two artists then join forces for baroque sonatas by Castello, Vivaldi, and Corelli, all performed on period instruments.
