Guest Artist, Heather Blume Exhibition, "Elements of Architecture"

Jobi Pottery & Gallery presents “Elements of Architecture,” by Guest Artist Heather Blume.  The Opening Reception is Sunday, August 21st, from 3:00 to 6:00 and the show runs until September 18^th.  In this show Ms. Blume explores the effect of structure on the human mind (experience) using ceramic sculpture as well as works on paper.In each diorama-like ceramic sculpture she uses walls, doorways, enclosures, and other architectural elements to pull the viewers imagination into recollection and gratification of spatial experience.
