Get in Style with Moliere taught by Alison Weller

Couplets! Fans! People behaving badly in big wigs and ginormous attire! How could this not be fun?  We’ll talk about the history of the period and how Moliere fits in, and discover, through Richard Wilbur’s magnificent translations, how Moliere is one of sitcom’s comedic ancestors. Then we’ll learn how to get comfortable moving and speaking in the style of his comedies. Bring a hanky, a cane, some heels and a sense of mischief. There will be silliness!  When:  Saturdays August 15 and 22 from 1-4 pm.

Ages: 18+.

Cost per course: $100. 

All classes will be held in the Cape Rep Theatre Studio.
