Free Museum Monday @ The JFK Hyannis Museum

Celebrating the art of scrimshaw, both museums will offer activities on May 1st.  In the morning, hear local marine art historian and dealer, Alan Granby speak about scrimshaw. He will also have a book signing at the JFK museum bookstore for his recently published Wandering Whalemen & Their Art book. Mr. Granby will also present in the afternoon at the Cape Cod Maritime Museum a block away from Main Street on Hyannis Harbor.  Kids activities will include carving their own scrimshaw art.  Check the museums websites for updates!
