Falmouth Museums on the Green's Katharine Lee Bates Poetry Fest

Falmouth Museums on the Green, home of the Falmouth Historical Society, at 55 Palmer Avenue, will stage its annual Katharine Lee Bates Poetry Fest on Thursday, Aug. 11 from 5:30 to 7 PM. This time-honored summer tradition celebrates the life and works of Falmouth' s famous daughter, Katharine Lee Bate. Winners of the all-ages poetry contest will share their original work. The community is invited to this free event, and light refreshments will be available.
