Exploring Mixed Media Techniques

Artists Chris and Kelly Ferguson will lead a workshop “Exploring Mixed Media Techniques”,
on Saturday, July 22, from 9-11 am at Woodruff’s Art Center in Mashpee Commons.
This workshop is an exciting way to try new materials, add another element to your artwork, or
to begin a new artistic exploration. Instructors, Chris O’Dell-Ferguson and Kelly Ferguson will
guide you on a tour of mixed media, delving into the different ways in which various media may
be combined. You will be encouraged to experiment with the materials provided, exploring your
inner artist and creating a truly unique piece of artwork, based on a subject matter of your
choosing. We will be using acrylic paints, collage techniques, collected items for assemblage,
inks, graphite, colored pencils, and more, as well working on a variety of surfaces. Come along
on an artistic adventure! All supplies included, but feel free to bring your own, as well. No
experience necessary. Students must be 18 years or older to attend.
