Join us for a day-long retreat, Embracing the Psalms: Finding God in a New Way on Saturday, October 23 at the Community of Jesus in Orleans, MA.
The retreat will include getting to know David, the author who was known as a “man after God’s own heart”, learning how to use the Psalms to detox the soul, exploring the Psalms through the arts, meeting Samuel Adler, a well-known Jewish composer, via Zoom and hearing his reflections on the Psalms, and learning about the tradition of singing the Psalms in Gregorian Chant—all on the grounds of a Benedictine monastic community.
