Eileen Smith: Featured Artist Exhibit

Eastwind Gallery in Orleans, reopened for the 2020 season on June 11th with 15 gallery artists displaying a diverse array of artwork including paintings, photography, and originally crafted jewelry.

The gallery will feature oil and watercolor paintings by Eileen Smith from August 18th through August 22nd.

New to the gallery this year, Eileen is well recognized in the local art scene. She owned and managed her own gallery, HandCraft House, in Brewster for 30 years. As a result, hundreds of her paintings and prints already reside in homes throughout the U.S. and abroad.

The incomparable beauty of Cape Cod’s natural landscape has always been her primary source of inspiration. Eileen’s current exhibit, “The Beach & Beyond”, is a remarkable collection of recent paintings that feature “beachscapes” and other iconic imagery. Eastwind Gallery is now offering online purchasing via Pay Pal. The Eastwind website (eastwindgallery.net) provides detailed information regarding each artist’s work, and member artists will personally attend to shipping requirements and special needs.

Eastwind Gallery has implemented recommended health precautions necessary to provide a sanitized and safe environment through a comprehensive daily sanitation regimen to minimize the risk of infection. Visitors are asked to wear masks.

Eastwind Gallery is a cooperative gallery located downstairs between Watson’s Men’s Apparel & Gallant Jewelry in the heart of the Orleans Cultural District. Enter from Main St. or Main St. Square where FREE parking is available behind Watson’s with a rear entrance to gallery. Gallery hours are Tuesday-Saturday from 11 am to 4 pm.
