Drawing through Observation I&II with Kathryn Smith

This six week workshop is designed for beginning and intermediate levels to explore the fundamentals of drawing from observation. How do we see what is in front of us? What are we looking at? How do we transfer those ideas to the drawing surface? Working on paper with a variety of media, you will learn or review your knowledge of basic traditional drawing methods, building your skills base as the class goes on, to a final composition encompassing skills introduced during the course.
