Diamonds in the Marsh: An Introduction to the Diamondback Terrapin

with author and professor Barbara Brennessel

The Diamondback Terrapin, named for the beautiful concentric rings on its shell, is the only salt marsh turtle in North America and we live in its northernmost range. This talk will examine the unique aspects of the life history of the terrapin and the conservation strategies designed to protect this charismatic turtle.
