Renowned ceramic artist Chris Gustin has curated this exhibition, which, along with his own works includes Barry Bartlett, Jonathan Cross, Perry Haas, Jan McKeachie Johnston, Matt Long, Dan Molyneux, Nancy Train Smith, and Arnie Zimmerman.
This exhibition will also showcase the work of 32 ceramicists that have come from across the United States to fire their ceramics in Gustin’s Japanese-style anagama kiln based in South Dartmouth, Massachusetts. Anagama, a Japanese term that means “cave kiln,” describes single-chamber kilns built in a sloping tunnel shape and are traditionally used by ceramicists in Korea and Japan.
