Ceramics 101: A Beginner’s Guide to Clay, with Corrinn Jusell

In this introductory ceramics class you will learn the basic skills needed to create beautiful objects for your kitchen, with your own personal flair, and learn what clay is, how it works, the basic tools of a clay studio, and how to use them.

In this introductory ceramics class you will learn the basic skills needed to create beautiful objects for your kitchen, with your own personal flair. You will learn what clay is, how it works, the basic tools of a clay studio, and how to use them. Weekly demonstrations in both the potter’s wheel and hand-building techniques, along with personalized attention, will allow you to complete multiple pieces while also getting you hooked on clay in a friendly, non competitive environment.
