Behind-the-Scenes Collection Tour: Focus on Bird Carvings

Go behind the scenes with Heritage’s curator, Jennifer Madden, and bird carving expert, Ted Harmon, for an exclusive exploration of the artistry and craftsmanship of decoys that can be found museum’s antique carved bird collection. Participants will be admitted to an “Employees Only” collection storage area to get up-close and personal with these unique pieces. During the tour, Jennifer and Ted will share little-known facts and stories about the figures. Advance registration is recommended, as space is extremely limited and this tour will sell out! Please note that this program takes place inside a collection storage area which can only be accessed via stairs.
