Zahili Gonzalez Zamora was born in Cuba and started playing the piano at the age of six. After graduating with a classical piano performance diploma from the National School of Music in Havana, Zahili performed professionally with traditional Cuban bands. In 2002 she moved to Canada and became acquainted with other genres of music. After releasing her debut album, Zahili assembled her Jazz Trio and has appeared at the Monterey Jazz Festival, Montreal International Jazz Festival, Celebrity Series of Boston, and other venues and festivals across New England.
