Annual Ukulele Fest

Under the direction of Steve Gregory, owner of SCORE Music Studio in Sandwich, and in a joint effort with the Sandwich Arts Alliance, the Annual Ukulele Fest takes place on Sunday, March 3^th from 3-5 pm at Sandwich Town Hall on 130 Main Street.

A $10 donation at the door is requested. $2 for children.

This year’s theme will be “Rock Music of the Sixties.”

Several area groups will be performing at the festival including Susan Anarino’s Dolphin Ukulele Ensemble directed by Susan Anarino; The Ukuladies, a band of 6 women that live on Cape Cod; the Cape Cod Ukulele Club led by Cathy Hatch; Main Street Muzic Collective; and the CCFTA Allstars and Uketopian Ukulele Band, both led by Steve Gregory. Featured are seasoned players along with students of all ages at various levels of experience. As a finale, all ukulele players will participate in a version of the Beatles’ “Twist and Shout.”
