Rooted in a rich history of tradition and experience, the College Light Opera Company (CLOC) works to cultivate the next generation of professionals who shape American theatre.

Claire Leyden is a New York-based singer and actress, with an extensive background in operatic, oratorio, and musical theater repertoire.  She is the 2016 recipient of the prestigious Hubbard Hutchinson Memorial Fellowship in Music, and in 2018 was awarded an Emerging Talent Award in the annual Lotte Lenya Competition, sponsored by the Kurt Weill Foundation for Music.  Ms. Leyden feels equally at home in a variety of genres, and the diversity of her recent performances speaks to her love of, and versatility in, the “crossover” repertoire.

Recent and upcoming performances include Vivien Savary (The Enchantress) with the Victor Herbert Renaissance Project LIVE!, Flora (La Traviata) and Frasquita (Carmen) at the Axelrod Performing Arts Center, Nella (Gianni Schicchi) and Suor Genovieffa (Suor Angelica) at the Narnia Festival in Italy, Valencienne (The Merry Widow) with New Rochelle Opera, and Despina (Così fan tutte) with Divaria Productions.  Ms. Leyden performed various roles as a member of the College Light Opera Company’s 2016 Vocal Company, including Aline Sangazure (The Sorcerer) and Jean MacLaren (Brigadoon).  She has also performed as a concert soloist with the Berkshire Symphony, Longwood Symphony, Narnia Festival Orchestra, and Garden State Philharmonic.

Ms. Leyden is a recent alumna of Williams College, where she graduated magna cum laude with a BA in Music and English.  She currently studies voice with Andrea DelGiudice in New York City. www.ClaireLeyden.com

Dennis Wees received his Bachelors of Music in Vocal Performance from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX. Performing credits include Matt in The Fantasticks(Theatre3, Dallas), Nanki-Poo in The Hot Mikado (Theatre3), Fyedka in Fiddler on the Roof (Casa Mañana and Lyric Stage, Dallas/Fort Worth), Danilo in The Merry Widow(CLOC, Cape Cod), J. W. Wells in The Sorcerer (CLOC), Col. Ricci in Passion (Utopia Opera, NYC) and Papageno in The Magic Flute (SMU).  In 2016, Dennis won 2^nd Prize in the International Lotte Lenya Competition, put on by the Kurt Weill Foundation for Music, and judged by Teresa Stratas, Theodore S. Founded by artists in 1981, CCMoA is the home of Cape Cod art. The Museum preserves the work of the Cape’s finest artists and celebrates the distinctive artistic identity of the Cape, the Islands and the region. It is a major hub of the cultural life of the region.  Through its outstanding art collection and diverse programming, CCMoA educates, inspires and excites the imagination while caring for and connecting the Cape’s many communities.  The Museum is situated in a beautiful setting surrounded by a Sculpture Garden at the Cape Cod Center for the Arts. CCMoA has seven galleries, a museum shop and a film screening room. It is supported in part by the Massachusetts Cultural Council and the Arts Foundation of Cape Cod.

                CCMoA is located at 60 Hope Lane, just off Route 6A, on the same campus as the Cape Cinema and the Cape Cod Playhouse in Dennis, MA. Hours are 10 am to 5 pm Tues through Sat and noon to 5 pm on Sunday.  It is open on ARTfull Thursdays from 5 – 8 with no admission fee.  General Admission is $9, $7 for seniors and students 19+ with school ID, $5 for students 13 to 18, and free for children 12 & under.
