Chef Instructor

The Cultural Center of Cape Cod, a non-profit organization, seeks a chef instructor with a passion for cooking whose culinary talent is matched by superior teaching skills.

Our chef instructor will take on the responsibilities of cooking, demonstrating, and answering questions all while engaging in a fun, educational culinary experience. The successful candidate will be able to:

-design class themes

-lead students in the preparation and cooking of specific menus/recipes

-promote a positive and interactive learning environment

-relate to students and staff in a team-oriented setting

-promote culinary activities, programs, and events

-be proactive in increasing class registration by highlighting upcoming -classes

-perform administrative tasks

-possess excellent verbal and written skills to effectively communicate with staff and students of all ages

-organize and complete all shopping for culinary classes

-maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen

-work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends as business dictates.
