I have a love of crafts, which began at an early age. Years ago I took a beginners glasswork class with Stephanie Maddalena and it all clicked. I found an art form that became an obsession. I have studied under Jennifer Geldard and Cynthia Leibler Saari, in addition to Stephanie.
I believe that artistic expression, whether in the kitchen, in a garden or in an art studio, is an intrinsic part of each person’s soul. Love of, and the desire to be exposed to, beauty is not only a human longing, but it is very humanizing. I love to reflect the colors of the sea, sand and sky in my work.
My family and I live in an circa 1889 house in the Historic District of Hyannis, Along with my husband Bruce, we work, read, garden, keep bees, and make our own wine.
I currently have a public studio on the HyArts campus at the intersection of South and Pearl Streets. Visit my Instagram profile (listed below) to make an appointment to come see how glass jewelry is created.
I am a member of the ISGB, The International Association of Glass Beadmakers,
