Paintings and drawings by Manuel Dias will be on display at the Maser Gallery from September 2 through October 4, 2018.

The public is invited to a reception on Sunday, September 9, from 3:00 – 5:00 pm.

Manuel “Manny” Dias is a Cape Cod native, entrepreneur, musician, and artist with a passion for traveling. He has visited Hong Kong, Japan, and North Africa. His travels to Europe inspired his entrepreneurial venture, “Pie in the Sky,” a New England bakery and coffee shop with a European flair.

Manny’s love of art began with window displays and advertisements for his bakery shop and continued on to landscape painting. Living on Cape Cod provided him with some of the finest land and seascapes to view and photograph. To further his artistic ventures, he studied Cape Cod landscape art with Diane Lee. He draws inspiration from his own photos, creating acrylic renderings of lighthouses, boats, and seascapes. “I’ve seen much of the world,” declares Manny, “but nothing compares to the beauty of Cape Cod.”

Although Manny has had his art displayed in local bank lobbies and libraries, this is his first official gallery showing.
