Classes at the art center run in 8 week sessions starting January 8th. We offer a wide range of classes for adults and children at all times of day. If you have ever been interested in pottery, we have a thriving pottery studio. Classes include handbuilding, wheel throwing, sculpture, raku and more. In the summer we offer weekly clay camps for kids. Stop by and take a look at the studio. We offer painting classes of all types, drawing classes, portrait classes and host several visiting artists who hold workshops at the art center. For those who are interested in fiber classes, we offer two weaving classes for any skill level. If you join the art center you get discounts on classes as well as access to member groups- knitting, figure painting, open studio and more. The art center has three galleries which change monthly, and we highly encourage local artists to hang their work in the exhibits. We are a community art center, here to promote local artists and encourage artists of all abilities to get involved in the community. If you are not an artists there are still plenty of reasons to come to the art center. We offer masterpiece theatre movie afternoons, monthly receptions open to the public, and each winter we have a six week long holiday market selling local crafts and gifts so you can do all your holiday shopping locally and at the same time support local artists and the art center.  Come and visit, or look at our website to see all the great offerings!
