This exhibit features 25+ artists and is a benefit for Dana Farber Cancer Institute in honor of Cynthia Cruz who is battling cancer. An opening reception will be held Thursday, November 2nd from 5:00-7:00pm.
The purchase of a small work of art not only proves to be a meaningful gift, but it provides support to the artist and the charity. In addition to original paintings in various mediums, there are also wire sculptures, blown glass, pottery, jewelry, cards and many unique treasures.
Woodruff’s Art Center will donate 10% of its proceeds from the exhibit sales to Dana Farber Cancer Institute and many of the participating artists will also contribute a portion of their commissions. Jewelry artist Anne Parshall has generously donated a beautiful necklace composed of blown glass and freshwater pearls to be raffled off at the end of the exhibit with 100% of the raffle ticket sales donated to Dana Farber.
