Curtis on Tour returns to Highfield Hall with their summer New England Tour featuring Curtis alumni cellist Arlen Hlusko, violist Rimbo Wong, violinist Shannon Lee and guitarist Jordan Dodson. The program includes thrilling, diverse repertoire for classical guitar and strings including a range of works from Ludwig van Beethoven to contemporary composer David Ludwig.

An embodiment of the school’s “learn by doing” approach, students, faculty, and alumni frequently perform in major venues throughout Europe, Asia, and the Americas. In the U.S., Curtis ensembles perform regularly at Carnegie Hall (New York), the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum (Boston), the National Gallery of Art (Washington, D.C.), the Mondavi Center for the Performing Arts (Davis, CA), among other venues which include Highfield Hall & Gardens. Curtis on Tour is the Nina von Maltzahn Global Touring Initiative of the Curtis Institute of Music.
