This class of 10 Top Tips for Recording is a 3 hour session of ten tips that every engineer and producer should have in their bag of tricks! Utilizing industry standard software, Pro Tools, we will discuss tips and tricks such as workflow, mic choices, mic placement, people's attitudes, and of course, music! Many techniques and concepts will be applicable across other software platforms as well, such as Logic Pro, Cubase, Presonus, and Reaper; some of which will be demonstrated in class. A basic understanding of music recording software is highly recommended. This class meets in the Night Owl Recording Studio on the lower level of the Education Wing.
