Learn to expand your photographic vision and style and push yourself to a new level of creativity through a hands-on photography class. Julia Cumes' "Group Shoot and Critique Class" will  offer photographers and photography enthusiasts experience photographing on location with the guidance of a professional photographer. The seven week course will begin with a review session during which we'll go over basic photographic techniques and elements of composition in preparation for our first group shoot. During the weeks that follow, there will be three group shoots at various beautiful locations on the Cape with follow-up critique sessions the following week. The on-location shoots will include a focus on landscapes, portraits (we will  have a model for at least one shoot), abstract images, detail shots/inanimate subjects like plants, boats etc. and silhouettes. Participants should have some experience in photography and access to a DSLR camera (and computer); however, all are welcome from beginners to professionals.
