Emmy-award winning, Brewster author Neville Frankel discusses the family history that inspired his new historical novel, the challenges of integrating historical detail and family lore, and his creative process.

With the current refugee crisis in Europe reaching a scale unknown since World War II and immigration issues inserting themselves into our national dialogue, this talk illuminates today’s issues, even as it sheds penetrating insight from the past.
