Too Much Light Makes the Baby Go Blind

Having opened in 1988, and holding the record for the longest-running show in Chicago history, “Too Much Light,” is an ensemble theater experience presenting “30 Plays in 60 Minutes.” Each play is performed in random order, as determined by the audience, with an on-stage timer keeping everyone honest.
A countdown clock keeps things moving, and your admission price is determined at the door, in part by the roll of a six-sided die! Pair that with the audience’s spontaneous choice of the plays performed, and the “wildcard” of audience participation, Too Much Light can best be described as scripted improvisation.
