The Nutcracker Gala

“The Nutcracker” is an elaborate ballet that was first brought to life in 1892. Since its inception, audiences from around the world have seen hundreds of versions performed by thousands of dance companies. Production director, Ms. Carle, says, “The setting at the Coonamessett Inn is perfect as it brings the audience back to the Victorian Christmas Fantasy, which is at the root of the story”.

The evening will start at 6PM and guests will be able to mingle and look at the dancers in tutus in the room. Dinner will be serve at 6:30PM. The story telling will begin after dinner, followed by the dance performance. Afterwards, guests will have a chance to chat with and take pictures with the dancers. We encourage families of all ages to attend as the magic of the Nutcracker will fill the evening. Guests are invited to dress for the occasion.          

The performances will be held at the Coonamessett Inn, 311 Gifford Street, Falmouth, 02540. Tickets prices, including the dinner buffet, are: $52 for adults, $27 for children ages 6-16 and $18 for children 5 and under. Children 2 and under do not need tickets. Tickets can be purchased on the ww.capecoddancecenter.com website. Limited seating is available. Early reservations are recommended. Vegetarian options and a separate kid’s buffet will be available.
