The Mixed Media Figure

For beginners, we’ll use a more  traditional and academic approach to create a stronger foundation and analyze ways to apply paint and other materials to get interesting effects. For more advanced participants, we’ll experiment with and explore the possibilities of figure expression. There will be a demonstration from the instructor and a group critique at the end of the week.

Antonia Ramis Miguel was trained in Europe and has been painting for more than 30 years, and teaching drawing and painting for over 20 years. She has a passion for teaching and helping each student to find their individual approach and path to painting. Her work has been shown in her native Spain, Vienna, Washington, D.C. Massachusetts and London.
