Keeping it Simple is the name of the game! With an introduction to basic elements of black and white fine art printing,  Learn a simple yet sophisticated approach to creating powerful black and white images. Using easy to follow techniques and concepts to create strong monochromatic images. Students will learn the fundamental skills necessary to create and build a powerful black and white portfolio.

Creating satisfying and consistent prints with digital technology involves much more than just hitting the print button. This hands-on  4-week course covers the fundamentals of Lightroom image editing, including RAW conversion, localized adjustments, color to black-and-white conversions, plugins as well as printer profile management, & driver settings.

The hands on workshop classes are assignment based as well as working with existing image collections. Students will need a laptop, a basic knowledge of Lightroom and a few plugins to participate in the class.  All participants will finish with three 8 x 10 images in 16 x 20 fine art mats suitable for framing and gallery display.
