ON GOLDEN POND

Opening on Friday September 16 and continuing on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings at 7:30pm

with Sunday matinees at 4pm. Additional Saturday matinees on Oct 1 and 8 at 4pm.

This is the love story of Ethel and Norman Thayer, who are returning to their summer home on Golden Pond for the forty-eighth year. He is a retired professor with heart palpitations and a failing memory, but still as tart-tongued, observant and eager for life as ever. Ethel, the perfect foil for Norman, delights in all the small things that continue to enrich their long life together. They are visited by their divorced, middle-aged daughter and her dentist fiancé, who then go off to Europe, leaving his teenage son behind for the summer. As humorous as it is heartwarming, On Golden Pond will leave audiences enraptured.

Adults $25; Youth under 21 $15.

All performances are on the theater’s main stage, located at 105 Division Street, West Harwich, MA 02671. Facility is air-conditioned and wheelchair accessible. Assisted listening devices are available.

Benefit Performance for WE CAN on Thursday, September 22, 2016 at 7:00PM

This is a benefit performance of On Golden Pond for the WE CAN organization. The $35 ticket price includes a pre-show reception on the deck, the On Golden Pond performance, and a post-show talk-back with director Susan Kosoff, members of the cast, and WE CAN executive director Andi Genser. A portion of the proceeds from the evening will go to the WE CAN organization, which provides support and unique services that empower Cape women of all ages and circumstances who are undergoing challenging life transitions.
