Before coming to the Cape in 1994, Jim was an engineer working at the Electronic Laboratory at Fort Monmouth, NJ. Since then, he has been active in the Cape Cod Viewfinders’ Camera Club, the Eastham Hiking Club and the Brewster Ladies’ Library. At the Library, Jim has been running the Book Sale for twenty years along with his wife, Linda Mills, and long-time friend Hannah Larson. Jim has also served as editor of the Library Book Reviews for the last ten years. At the Camera Club, Jim has competed in club competitions for two decades and has displayed photographic prints at numerous club shows. Most of the images displayed in this Library Photographic Display have been previously entered into club competitions. The images cover a wide range of subjects but are primarily of landscape and architecture. Most of these photographs were taken on the Cape, in New York, in the San Francisco Bay area and in Boston. This is the first time that these images have been displayed publicly.
Jim would like to thank Michael and Susan Karchmer for their crucial support in preparing these images for this BLL Show.
This exhibit is sponsored by the Brewster Ladies’ Library. Please call the Library at (508) 896-3913 before coming, due to the exhibition room sometimes being in use for a program and not open for viewing.
