Description:
Macro and still life photography both depend on learning to pay attention to details. Whether you use natural light from a window or create your own set up with studio lighting, you can develop your own skills for composing shots where you have control of all of the elements. This class will explore different types of lighting, composition, and backgrounds, and develop your ability to visualize macro and table top shots that surprise the viewer. We will spend the first part of the day in the classroom learning the technical and compositional skills necessary to create macro and tabletop shots. Later in the day we’ll break out the cameras and use objects, produce, flowers, and a variety of lighting to practice the skills learned. Join us for an exciting day and develop your vision.
Bring the camera that you like to use, a tripod if you have one, lunch, and your creativity. Come see the world up close and in detail!
