JFK: Lands That He Loved. A Centenniel Celebration in Art

Gallery Artrio is celebrating the 100th anniversary of the birth of President John F. Kennedy with a special exhibition of landscapes often associated with the him as revisited by contemporary artists.

President Kennedy gave us the Cape Cod National Seashore in 1961, he summered in Hyannis Port and had his ‘Summer White House” there, and he visited Ireland, the home of his ancestors, as a visitor in the 1940’s and as president in 1963.  These seven artists have spent time visiting and painting these special places.

The exhibition will be open August 1 to October 9, 2017.

Special opening reception: Thursday, August 3, 6-8 pm.  All are welcomed; light refreshments.
