- Materials-
- There are no Material Fees. Instructor will have paper and paint available at discounted/bulk pricing. Winsor Newton paint bulk purchased discounted as well.
- Using coupons at AC Moore and Michael’s works, but best pricing is online at Jerry’s Artarama, Dick Blick, or CHeap Joes.
- Paint:
- Warm and cool of the basic primaries in Professional Grades. Instructor uses Winsor Newton
- Winsor yellow or Lemon yellow
- Cadium yellow pale or Cadium yellow
- Permanent rose
- Cadium red
- Cerulean blue
- Ultra-marine blue
- Raw sienna
- Paper:
- Using the best materials is part of the successful journey in watercolor
- Cold press 140lb weight- can be purchased as single sheets, or in blocks. Instructor will have sheets available at discount (bulk) pricing for those students bringing their own supplies.
- Other:
- 2 clear containers for water
- 3 brushes- (round #5 or #6, round #10 or #12, a 1″ flat)
- Viva paper towels
- Pencil
- Kneaded eraser
- Palette
- notebook for ckass notes and sketching
- Support for watercolor paper
- Blue painter’s tape
