Art21 Film Series

Art21 Art in the Twenty First Century is a Peabody Award-winning film series, each featuring three national/international contemporary artists in selected themes. Following the screening at 7:30 pm, three local arts professionals lead a lively panel discussion about the artists, motivations, materials, concepts and more! On Nov 21, "Legacy" features artists Tania Bruguera, Wolfgang Laib and Abraham Cruzvillegas; with panelists John Babineau, Betty Fuller, and Kate Sidwell. The last film on December 5, "Fiction", explores the work of artists Katharina Grosse, Joan Jonas, Omer Fast. Panelists include Robert Henry, Lauren Wolk and Britt Beedenbender.
