Capt. Bangs Hallet House Summer Art Exhibit

The Historical Society of Old Yarmouth will mark the 100^th anniversary of B. Shirley Carter’s birth with a retrospective of his semi-abstract watercolors featuring Cape Cod scenes. Carter won awards and exhibited widely in New York and the Northeast until his death in 2002 at the family farm in Yarmouth Port.

The exhibit is on display during museum hours at 11 Strawberry Lane, Yarmouth Port, 1 to 4 p.m. Friday to Sunday to mid-October. Docents lead tours of the 19th century furnished captains’ home. Admission is $3.
