Cape Symphony Presents "American Mavericks"

Join the Cape Symphony as we celebrate the major birthdays of important musical American mavericks, including our nation’s greatest maestro, Leonard Bernstein. His pure genius led to groundbreaking works across many genres, and we’ll present his famous “Symphonic Dances from West Side Story” and his playful “Divertimento.”

Two other American Mavericks celebrating birthdays are John Adams and Philip Glass. You’ll hear some of their greatest music for the orchestra. Join us to celebrate these true American originals, among the greatest our country has ever known!
