“Aesop’s Fables” by Sparky's Puppets

Sparky’s Puppets will perform “Aesop’s Fables.” Watch a timid mouse rescue a fierce lion in “The Lion and the Mouse.”   Sing along with the grasshopper in “The Grasshopper and the Ant.”   Meet “The Country Mouse and the City Mouse.”  Watch the exciting race between “The Tortoise and the Hare”. And see what happens when a naughty boy cries “Wolf!” too many times.  These fables have been entertaining and teaching children since they were first told in ancient Greece. Families are invited to come for the show and stay to make their own puppets afterward.

Sparky’s Puppets dramatize favorite children’s stories with colorful hand puppets, lively humor and plenty of audience participation.  They have enter-tained children and family audiences throughout New England for over 35 years.

The show is presented as a second in a row at the Saturdays with Puppets series organized by Cape Cod’s Dream Tale Puppets and supported by John Wesley United Methodist Church. The troupe, led by Jacek Zuzanski, has shared theatrical adventures with Cape audiences since 2003. Dream Tale Puppets first organized a puppetry series for families in 2011.
