“Step into color, shapes and mood” — that is what I want people to do.

After stopping my art career to raise a family, and working in the medical field and spa industry, I have now returned to painting.

Art and music are symbiotic to me-so I always paint with music on. This can be anything from New Age to Rock and is a vital part of my expression. (thank you Pandora!)

The other piece for my equation is the amazing light here on Cape Cod, and the pull of the ocean.
Initially I painted realistic landscapes and seascapes, but gradually I was drawn to representational and abstract style — I love the freedom of just painting with pure abandon!

Themes in Work:

My muse and favorite subject is the sea and the sky. My sea and landscapes follow a thread of trying to capture the seeming “endlessness” of the ocean and sky. Clouds fascinate me, daytime, storm clouds, and sunset clouds, they are ever-present in my paintings. My “interpretive” and abstract works are just that-I want the viewer to come to their own conclusions, through the use of colors and shapes.
