Bernadette Corbett Waystack is a Harwich Port-based visual artist and teacher whose work explores the concept of painting as prayer and landscape as memory.  She paints primarily in oils and pastels. She practices the traditional method of white-line woodblock printmaking developed in Provincetown in the early 1900s. She also works with textiles creating art quilts and fabric collages.

Bernadette is an artist in residence at the Harwich Cultural Center where she maintains a working studio space in the Creative Suite. During the summer season she can also be found at the “Art Shack Out Back” in downtown Harwich Port in the rear of 565 Rte 28.
